This could be related to problems with the blood circulation and is more likely to occur if she is overweight and has varicose veins. Circulatory problems are becoming more common these days with a sedentary lifestyle. There may be other causes that could be related to the nerves (neurological causes) which may also need to be considered but since no other symptoms have been noticed there is no reason to assume this immediately. Your daughter should see a doctor so that the underlying problem can be diagnosed as early as possible and the appropriate treatment commenced.
