Floaters usually indicate a disturbance in the vitreous humor of the eye. There are various causes of floaters and an opthamologist/opthalmis surgeon (eye specialist)needs to examine the eye closely. Most cases are due to unknown factors and apart from being a bit of a bother, it is not serious. However, vision is normal in these cases.

You reported blurry vision in another question posted on this platform and this is a bit of a concern. This could be due to serious disorders of the vitreous humor or retina or even an ocular migraine and required immediate medical attention. It is advisable that you do not delay on this matter and seek medical attention immediately.

Take note of other symptoms like loss of peripheral vision and so on which you can report to your family doctor so that you can be quickly referred to an opthamologist.
