<p>The survey, conducted by the British Heart Foundation, shows that almost 73 percent youngsters( aged 8-15) were ignorant of the fact junk foods can possibly reduce their life span.</p>
<p>While 45 percent seemed to believe that developing tooth problem, increasing body weight and getting spots were the only problems that could occur because of these <strong><a href="http://www.healthpm.com/category/food-and-fitness" target="_blank">foods</a></strong>.</p>
<p>Some studies suggest that more than two thirds of children would be <strong><a href="http://www.healthpm.com/tag/obesity" target="_blank">overweight</a></strong> by 2050.</p>
<p>Currently, nearly one-third of young (aged 10-11) are overweight. Experts have shown concerned over it and say that nowadays children might have a shorter life span than their parents had.</p>
<p><span id="more-296"></span>In this survey 1,100 children were included and when they were asked about their expected age, 56 percent predicted that they would live over 80 years, while 11% said that they would be over 100.</p>
<p>“ Eating junk food may give spots and put you on weight, but these things don’t bother me as future is a far off thing to worry about,” says 11 years old Ryan Bolton.</p>
<p>To assist children in making good food choices, BHF has launched an online game named Yoobot.</p>
