what would cause pressure,pain,moderate constant discomfort on left side at the bottom of rib cage have seen gastro doctor had CT scan,colonoscopy,ultrasound,blood work,thyroid check,stool check and all were normal

    This could be related to the upper parts of the gastrointestinal tract, possibly involving the esophagus, stomach, duodenum. You would an endoscopy to verify whether there is any abnormalities in this area. There are a number of conditions that can cause this. It could also be related to surrounding structures that are not part of the gastrointestinal system like the kidneys or spleen.

    Due to the location, it is also important to exclude any conditions affecting the lungs, chest wall and abdominal wall and so on. A feeling of pressure or discomfort on its own is quite non-specific. An upper GI endoscopy may be able to help exclude other possible conditions that may have not been detected on previous investigations.
