Early days of pregnancy are extremely important in fetal metamorphosis, but many women fail to recognize pregnancy in very early days and may stick to unhealthy habits like drinking and smoking. To create awareness about early pregnancy among women is essential for fetal health, lead researcher Dr. Mary D. Nettleman said.

To prove this phenomenon either pregnancy test on hand helps or not, researchers sent pregnancy test kits to198 women, in the mail. They also sent three pregnancy test strips and guidelines to get more strips.
A comprehensive note about the importance of preconception health, home pregnancy test use and pregnancy planning was also delivered to the all participants.
Participants were neither using birth control nor trying to get pregnant. After six months the average pregnancy rate was 1.2 times in the controlled group, while the rate was 2.3 times in the uncontrolled group.
The women of uncontrolled group were at high risk of delayed detection of pregnancy, researchers noted. When a woman comes to know that she is pregnant, she should adopt a healthier lifestyle
“This is a strong psychological stimulus. My purpose is to initiate that stimulus as early as possible. Woman of childbearing age should keep a pregnancy test kit around,” she advised,
