Is a cheese pizza acceptable in a low residue diet? On very rare occasion. I have had no problems since a severe instance of diverticulitis.

If you have experienced not any problems with pizza, then small quantities may be fine for you eat. Stop eating it immediately if you notice any symptoms. You should speak to your doctor and a registered dietitian about your specific dietary needs. Despite the fact that you do not have any symptoms after eating a specific food, your doctor and dietitian will be in a better position to advise your further as they are aware of your medical history.
