    No. A beard cannot cause fertility. However, sometimes the hormonal disturbances that can contribute to excessive facial hair in women (hirsutism) may also contribute to infertility. This does not mean that every woman with hirsutism will have problems with pregnancy but it is often the case. You also have to differentiate between normal facial hair and excessive facial hair. Some women, particularly certain ethnicities, have more facial hair than others. If the hair grows back fast, is dense and thick then it may be more likely to be hirsutism.
