I was wondering if it is possible to be fructose tolerance only when having fruit in dairy. I am slight lactose intolerant only if I drink a large quantity of milk or eat a lot of ice cream at one go. Otherwise milk and ice cream don’t bother me if its in small quantities.
Cheese and yogurt do not bother me at all. But I noticed that if I have yogurt with fruit bits in it or even ice creams with fruit pieces, then I get some cramping, gas and loose bowel movement. I can eat the same fruits on it own and there is no problem. I can have the same brand of yogurt without fruit bits and its fine.
But the moment the fruit is mixed with the milk, then it starts. Is it possible to be fructose intolerant only when having milk products?
