My baby seems like having rash or asthma on the upper shoulder and chest area. Is there any cure for asthma? Or will it goes away in time.

Asthma is a hypersensitivity disorder of the airways and does not affect the skin. What you may be talking about is eczema. This type of rash is also related to immune hypersensitivity and may resolve with time.

It is not uncommon for babies with eczema to also experience asthma and allergic rhinitis as these are the three main atopic conditions (allergic triad). It is possible that the rash will resolve on its own over time with little or no treatment but it can persist for long periods of time as well.

You should take your baby to a dermatologist who will firstly confirm that it is eczema and initiate the appropriate treatment if necessary.
