Chinese courts are now accepting the complaints of the families, whose children got sick after the use of tainted milk last year, official media reported.

The report has been published in the China Daily after a long delay. The prosecutors announced, they were not clearly informed about the scandal, which has led down China by revealing loopholes in the food safety system.

Courts all over the China are now accepting the cases from the families who have refused the compensation from the milk manufacturers, involved in the scandal, news paper reported.

“Few parents of infant victims have rejected compensation and preparing the petitions against milk companies,” Shen Deyong, executive vice-president of the Supreme People’s Court said.

The people’s court have been prepared and they will accept the compensation cases as per the instructions of the government

Due to the contaminated milk six children had died and over 300,000 infants had been sickened, last year. The companies had used the toxic industrial chemical melamine to give a proteinaceous look to their products.

Courts in the province Shandong has accepted the cases of 54 families whose kids are now suffering from the urinary illnesses due to the used of tainted milk made by Syrutra International Inc.

Before this, the courts were not responding accordingly to the complaints made by the people, yet it is not confirm that all courts of China will follow the instructions.

The contaminated milk has caused kidney stone in thousands of children and six have died due to the complete renal failure.
