I AM STILL NOT ABLE TO SLEEP DUE TO THE WHEEZING. IF I SIT STRAIGHT UP NO INCLINE THE WHEEZING IS SLIGHT BUT STILL THERE. I AM COUGHING UP A LOT OF YUK, THE COLOR IS NOT BAD LIKE BEFORE, SHOULD I BE CONCERNED ABOUT THE WHEEZING SINCE THE PA ASST. SAID MY OXYGEN LEVEL WAS GOOD, AND SHE COULD NOT HEAR WHEEZING WHEN I WAS IN ON THURS. MIND YOU THIS PA DID NOT EVEN KNOW THAT A COLORED SPEWTUM WAS SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT, MAYBE SHE WAS WRONG ON DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT ALSO.I AM TIRED BECAUSE I HAVE NOT SLEPT, BUT JUST LINGERING HERE WONDERING IF I WAS PROPERLY DIAGNOSED. IS IT A WIVES TALEL, OR IS GETTING IN THE SUN GOOD FOR THIS CONDITION, I HAVE A NICE SUNNY PATIO TODAY.

I would still say that you need to follow up directly with your doctor or even see a pulmonologist (lung specialist) if this has been ongoing and you are not responding to treatment. There is no harm in sitting in the sun provided that you are wearing sunscreen and not trying to warm yourself if you have a fever. Sun helps with vitamin D synthesis, enhancing one’s mood and so on but it may not necessarily help with a lung infection.
