I fell and broke one foot and severly sprained the other. The foot I thought was broke was the sprainged one. It is swollen even worst now three days later and my leg is hard and swollen. Is this natural? Its swollen all the way up to my knee. I cannot even see my ankles. What should I do?

Also the Dr. said I may need surgery on the other foot. However, I have no insurance to cover it. Its hard to walk on the crutches with two messed up. I am in need of a wheel chair. Is there any programs out there that would loan me a wheelchair until I can get healed up? It may take 5-7 weeks according to the Dr.

Significant swelling is common in this type of injury. We cannot advise you on any other part regarding programs for wheelchairs and so on. Your doctor will be in the best position to advise you on what treatment options are available and suitable for your condition. You need to be patient during the next 6 weeks or so and follow the advice given to you by your doctor.
