I’m a 14 year old girl and at about the start of this school year I started to develope very severe Anxiety Disorder
It got so bad that I started to have panic attacks as much as 5 times a day but usually 2 to 3 times a week
I had looked up all the symptoms to anxiety and panic attacks and I had experienced all of them.
Shortness of breath
irregular heart beat
loss of sleep

I started to develope depression because none of the
doctors would help me until I researched kava kava and tryptoval
Now I am taking and stopped drinking any stimulates
and haven’t had a panic attack since then
I can only take it for 2 more months
so I was wondering if there are any alternatives that
arent perscription?

    We don’t provide any advice on treatment, especially when it comes to self medicating or alternative therapies. You need to see a doctor. Self-medicating is dangerous and as a young girl, you should look at counseling and other measures to manage your depression. Medication should really be the last option. The idea that “popping a pill” will solve all mental and emotional upsets is a dangerous way of thinking, especially in a young person like yourself. Speak to your parent(s), the school nurse/guidance counselor or your doctor. There is no reasons that “none of the doctors would help” and if this is the case, then you should seek an opinion from another doctor or lodge a complaint with your local health authority. There are many free support groups and help lines for depression and you should try to contact one in your area for further advice.
